I've gotten this message on my '22 C40 a handful of times over the last couple of months, so I booked a service visit last week and brought in my car. They kept it most of the day trying without success to figure out the cause, since apparently Volvo didn't want them to close it out without an answer. I have scanned a few codes related to the cooling system using OrBit, including VCU1-P211E07B - Hybrid/EV Battery Coolant Level Sensor Circuit/Open- Mechanical Failures- Low fluid level and VCU1-P01214142A - Hybrid/EV Electronics Coolant Temperature Sensor Circuit- General Signal Failures- Signal Stuck In Range. It actually happened twice more since my visit last week, and they asked me to keep them updated, so we'll see how it goes. The only apparent symptom has been that the climate control timer never works to warm up my car in the morning, it always shows "Parking climate not available" on the screen, though I am able to remote start the car with the phone app.
Was the coolant level just low?
