35,000 miles. Front motor high voltage inverter replaced. Main camera replaced. Usual google bugs.

 

2021, owned over two years, 26,000 miles, one of the first in the states. Both front strut plates replaced due to a popping sound. Driver's speaker was blown in the first month or so, replaced. No other issues. Love it! And I have paid $0 in maintenance costs so far.

Probably spent 4.5 months in the shop.

Just ended the lease at 23,000 miles. Overall, a trouble free and great experience. Three times in the shop, one time for a software update (before OTA really worked), one time for regular scheduled maintenance, and one time for broken sun roof shade motor. This is significantly better than any ICE car I have had over the past 10 years

 

About a year and 11,000 miles so far. No repairs or replacements needed.

 

18,7xx miles on our 21. No major issues other than one OTA never got pushed to our car. Took it in to the dealership to get it installed and have had 2 flawless OTA’s since.

 

34,000 miles in 18 months. Had a few instances of no LTE, GPS, stuck on 6A charging last year, and minor software/infotainment bugs. Will need new tires fairly soon.

 

Currently 16,500 miles. Dealer replaced faulty Airbag. Dealer replaced gouged brake discs from rust. Dealer fixed LTE/TCAM issues. All has been good since about 10K miles.

 

I started at the tire shop who had more choices, but their wait time for the Continentals was longer and the cost at the dealership wasn't significantly higher.

I think I could have actually saved some money by buying the tires on the official Volvo dealers website tire system but I didn't want to risk it versus just going to the dealer and getting the tires.

 

Just over 17,000 miles on my 2022 bought in June 2022. No issues over than software bugs.

2019 XC40 T5 Inscription - Just passed the 90k miles mark.

Must have missed the "XC40 RECHARGE" part of this thread. And the title of this entire forum as well. 😀

 

Just picked up a 2021 used with 51k miles. Battery SOH is 92.17% via Orbit

Other than software updates and cabin air filters....
30k - Cooling system services, heated seat repaired
39k - Brake fluid flushed.

 

27K Miles, replaced fixed sunroof after getting cracked from rock strike, that's it for issues.

 

55K miles, only changed tires once

How has the car treated you? Wondering on an xc40 single motor with 60k miles on it, stupid idea? Nothing wrong with the car as I know, is there a function on the car to check the battery status?

 

On the flip side of the equation, just turned the corner on 77 miles today, circling the neighborhood, trying to figure out all the newfangled gadgets and features. Still not there, of course.

I have had an issue with corrosion in the wiring harness. This resulted in erroneous behavior of the accelerator. There has been a recall a few years ago because of this.

 

Just sort of 33,000 miles with my MY23 Xc40 Recharge. Still on original Continental tires. Only negative issue was losing LTE for a day or 2 after the 3.0.3 update. Hasn't happened since 3.1.9 was released OTA.

 

hi all, new to the forum. who has the highest mileage XC40 Recharge nowadays? i'm learning about the car, so i'm curious about who made the battery, how do I make sure I get an Android based car, reliability issues, etc. Volvo seems like a niche brand, that is also new at the EV game, so I am concerned about... well, a lot of things. asking bc I would like to buy my wife a 2021 XC40 Recharge. thanks!

 

2023 XC40. This week I went over 80,000 miles. Occasionally I have to reboot the system by holding the one button down, but that’s because of the map not working correctly or other oddities.
early on I had an issue with the turtle “propulsion issue”
Maintaining the vehicle has been fantastic.
charging the vehicle due to lack of charging stations or time to charge, is terrible. But, I charge outside of home, daily, sometimes twice.
if you have any specific questions, please let me know.
I also have some rubber floor mats that I’m interested in selling, ones that are brand new.

 

that's good to hear. when you say that maintaining the vehicle has been fantastic, does that mean more like maintenance is minimal? I define minimal as tires and alignments, cabin air filter, and brake fluid.

personally, I'm ok with rebooting from time to time, not a huge deal (1/mo, as a daily driven car). but for my wife's purposes, if Bluetooth integration is anywhere near as bad as our BMW i3, i'll have to shop for another car in 6 mo. how has your BT experience been (once you have several phones paired)?

thoughts on steering feel? referencing the BMW i3 again, that car had better steering feel than a rental 5 series (gas), and worse steering feel than our Rav4 EV.

how much does range drop when it's cold out? also regarding the cold - thoughts on charging performance when the battery is cold? how much effort is required to get the pack up to temp to achieve a good charge rate?

does the car actually achieve 150kw charge rates, or is that just marketing?

40,000mi, no issues other than cracked panoramic roof from stone strike. Also my charge cable is separating a bit but not needing replacement. Otherwise only scheduled service. About to get new tires. Looking at the Hankook or Michelins.
