SRS airbag Service Urgent, Drive to Workshop

I got this message and brought my car in for service. They did diagnostics, found nothing wrong, removed and reinstalled the airbag. Car seemed ok for a while then the warning came back.
This time they kept the car for a couple days, ordered and installed a part and the car seemed fine.
It’s been about a week and today the warning light came back on again.

Anyone else having this problem?

I have the same issue with my C40. The dealership thought it would be a quick fix, and a few hours went by and they told me it was issuing an error code they never saw before, so needed to keep it a few days. Then they stated they would have to replace a part which is on backorder. It’s been just shy of 30 days and still no fix, so it’ll be a lemon by the end of the week.
Wow that’s not good. My VIN ends in 0416 which I guess indicates that it must have been one of the first ones manufactured. Does yours seem to be an early model also?
