I have the latest late June updates and I just push the front defrost for 20 seconds and the modem resets. So for me it is the same unless there is a newer update I don't have yet.

Have you tried rebooting infotainment with holding Home button for 20 seconds? It seems it might reset the model as well.

They need to replace your IHU not sure why they are waiting and trying other things.

I am still trying to figure if my LTE issues are 1.7 or just my IHU is acting up. My LTE was dead for 15 hours until I rebooted and still dead, tried LTE reboot never seemed to work then a little after that LTE came back.

I have reached out to dealer to understand how a swap would work. There is a car at the port I am going to lock in with a deposit to see where this goes.

I do not want to jinx anything, but I may be on to something based on some events yesterday and today. I want to factory reset the car as I think there is a software/profile issue. My new phone come next weekend and if I have time I will factory reset the car and see what happens.

Yeah my LTE reliability has been a mess.

My car lost GPS, lte, wifi, and had the charge indicater max out at 6 amps 2 days ago. I did a factory reset yesterday and tried multiple console resets. None of it worked. Then miraculously as another person said, this morning everything started working again. So agreed that there must be some overnight reset that happens but it may not be every night.

See my posts about my advice. I suggest capturing video of failures and if possible bring the car in. At some point some people may feel the pleasure of the car is out weighed by the annoyances and wish to pull the lemon law card out.
