Thom Iov discusses a set of issues with his Volvo C40, much like I experienced lately with my C40, after coming back from a road trip to Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
- At 6min:30seconds, Thom talks about the issues he’s experienced with connecting a DCFC, stating that Volvo fixed the pin. I have had a series of fast chargers not working on my C40 which I detailed out in another thread (electrify America, ChargePoint to be specific).
- The vibration issues at higher speeds, where seems like Volvo has been reaching out to folks with this issue and a fix. Not sure if they have come around and addressed this through a software/hardware or a maintenance fix.
- Apple wired CarPlay connection issues. I have had some intermittent connectivity issues where once the iPhone is plugged into the hardwire, the CarPlay interface doesn’t immediately connect. I am going to replace my connector wire with a brand new one I just ordered to see if it fixes this issue.
- The re-appearance of the “propulsion system service required” message.
