Hi All,

I'm a Londoner living in Germany for the last five years.
I've ordered an XC40 T4 R Design today through my firm :grin

I've not chosen many extras, just:

19" wheels,
privacy glass,
the luggage system,
under seat storage,
connection pack (CarPlay and wireless charging)
Paddle shifters
And of course, the panoramic roof.

They've given me an estimated delivery date of June 2019. Not ideal, but I gather it'll be worth the wait. I'm hoping the extra effort Volvo are putting into clearing the backlog will help to bring it forward. To be honest, I'm not holding my breath

I will of course keep you all updated...

Welcome to the forum! Patience is the key but we hope you don't have to wait that long. I've been waiting 6 months and will be getting my vehicle sometime in the next few days (by mid November). Take care!

Rest assured, I'll be waiting. I knew before I ordered that it'd take a while. I'm hoping that the measures being put in place by Volvo in order to meet demand will bring things forward a bit. That said, I'm not holding my breath!
I actually chose this as a lease car through my firm and there's a chance I can get something else until it arrives. I asked for a stock XC60 which should do for now

Congrats on placing your order and welcome to the community. I don't know why Volvo didn't anticipate this sort of interest in their new crossover, as you wont be last customer who's stuck with a lengthy wait period.
