Newly got new 18’’ rims with winter tires. Changed last weekend, but front brake calipers seem to scratch inside rims? Work-arounds?

Do the calipers touch the "spokes" or the "underside" of the rim? If the spokes, then you got the wrong off-set rims. We have the 20" rims and I can fit my fist between the caliper and rim.

They touch the flat part of the rim, approx. 5 cm in from the spokes. Apparently, we are not the only ones having this problem. Dealership has ordered new rims from Volvo in Sweden, and they are expected delivered this week.

So I told the dealership workshop. 😨
The caliper barely touches the rim when brakes are cold,
driving on straight roads, but when they are warmed up,
or even worse - in a curve - they might lock the wheels?
I've changed back to summer tires on 19" in front, but really
hope they come up with new rims promptly, as we already
had snow this monday where I live in Norway.
