I tested the Carlinkit 3.0. Audio plays, but I get this message

CPLAY2Air used to work in my 2018 XC60 T8. Have not yet tried in my XC40 P8 yet.

Chances are it won’t work. Let us know! My CarLinkIt was able to connect to my iPhone and play music from Apple Music through the audio system, but the screen just said the make sure the cable was attached correctly. It’s some type of handshake issue.

Wired is better for audio, but a pain. So I made a lightning disco in the ashtray!

I ended up with a magnetically attached wired solution. A use this magnetic phone holder and this magnetic lightning cable. Getting my phone connected is actually super convenient and satisfying.
