On the overseas delivery program Volvo puts you up the first night. Can anyone tell me what hotel they put you in? I'm starting to plan for our trip and will probably stay an extra night or two before departing for Germany.

They put you in the Clarion Poste hotel, right next to the main train station. It's a very nice hotel.
Let me know if you have any other questions, we were just there in March and had a great time. Volvo treated us like royalty.

Crestwood, thanks for the info. Did you fly KLM or British Air? I believe those are the two carriers that they use. We'll be flying out of Sacramento, CA and hopefully flying into Landvetter, which I understand is the closest internation airport to Goteborb. We've spent time in Europe before, so I plan on spending two weeks visiting familiar places and seeing a few new ones. Did you enjoy your time there and take advantage of the two weeks worth of insurance for seeing Europe in your new Volvo?
