Had anyone got a failed update, with messages "The update was not successful" and "Your vehicle requires service before installing this update", downloaded again and installed successfully? Or a dealer visit is unavoidable?
I can only say my update failed Sunday and I received a phone call from Volvo Sunday evening wanting to check if my car was operational and if I had done all the things i was supposed to do. Of course I had and the gentleman told me to get an appointment with my dealer to get the download installed. I already have one to try to get the app working, but I’m sure we can add this to it.
