Hi, my 2019 R-design is parked on the street each night (large city, car break-in area) as I do not have a garage. Three of the last eight mornings, I've come to an unlocked car. The first time, someone had been inside having gone through center console and glove box. Nothing was taken (not even automatic toll gadget)...I wondered if I had accidentally not locked it as I could have been distracted by my daughter. A few days later, it was unlocked when I came outside (also parked directly in front of home) but didn't appear like anyone had been inside. Started getting paranoid that i've lost my mind and i'm not locking the car! Last night, I checked that it was locked...and came out this morning to it being unlocked. wtf. The software was updated less than a month ago. Could someone use a relay to unlock it?? I would have thought Volvo had good enough security to prevent a relay. Any other way to unlock the car without a key???
-losing my mind.
Id point a camera at it at night and see if it unlocks again. if it does take it into the dealership and have them figure out if its the car or the on call app unlocking.
Hello, I have had the same thing happen - I have an app now installed (Volvo app) that notifies me when car is unlocked. You can lock it then with app as well. It will help you track the cause of incidents (thereby I hope you have not mistakenly left a key in the car).
