We love our Tuxmats, with one exception: the driver's mat tends to bulge out away from the car's concave area in the vertical central tunnel wall, crowding the accelerator pedal. I've found that I can encourage the mat to stay close to the tunnel concavity by wedging in a piece of wood (photo) and leaving the car parked in the hot sun for a few hours. The floor mat behaves better after that. May have to repeat the treatment again soon though. Any other experiences or solutions? I've tried adhering the hook side of an strip of industrial Velcro against the backside of the mat, but the Velcro strip's adhesive does not hold well to the mat. The edge clips supplied by Tuxmat hold the edges well, but the area of the concavity tends to pop out.
