Either that or a c40 twin my24 vapour grey. Very confusing choice. We already have a xc40 Recharge twin
Confusing is definitely so true. The market for this particular EV brand of vehicles is gotten competitive in terms of style (so many variants), cost, versatility (5 versus 7/8 seats), technology (OTA, safety, audio), range (how much can I drive in town versus out of town), coolness factor (head turner versus mehhh)…the list goes on! πŸ™‚

The EX30 contrary to what I thought ain’t coming in cheap! 50K is the base model.

IMHO $50K base price in the USA is too high...I hope C&D is off the mark on that otherwise I think Volvo is going to have a tough sell, unless they do think this car is right up there with the C40 & XC40.

A fully loaded EX30 is 60K…dang…that’s the price of the C40 Ultimate P8 I paid up in 2022! πŸ˜‡πŸ˜‡

Now this is interesting. Our cars already have the blind spot sensors to alert us to cars and cyclists when getting out of the car. Could this be a future software update?

Would be neat if the did add it via a software update. I wonder if all our hardware is capable, or whether the cameras and/or radar modules are further developed for this feature? Guess we'll see!

In the first article linked it was mentioned that the CEO felt the tartlet would be 18-19 year olds?? No teenager is going to buy a Volvo. I’m 48 and I thought I was too young for one! I know they are working on changing their image from β€œold person’s” car to something cooler… but teens? Good luck!

Teenagers get their Volvos from their grandparents.

Maybe it was the CEO in China referring to the domestic market. But it could be that the EX30 is built with a younger demographic in mind, like the Cupra Born is compared to the ID.3 in Europe.
