Contact Volvo customer care and let them know how disappointed you are. Perhaps they will get you some sort of compensation like they did for me.

Any updates to this? My car has been in for a week, dealership finally came to the conclusion they need to replace the driver's airbag module next week. So about two weeks total. Then I'm going to follow through with Tom about contacting Volvo customer care. Tom did you just call? The biggest annoyance with this comes in 2 ways.

1) I get a loaner car that takes gas. Gas is still 5.50 a gallon. My car is free to drive with solar house.

2) I get a loaner with more features with an XC60 (heads up display, cooling seats, moving headlights with steering, more AC vents in the back, air bag suspension, more seat control, better pilot assistance (no clue why, it jus is)) that ultimately cost less then the car I have :/ . A little depressing

I'm having this problem. Seems to be triggered by hot weather. Only appears after the car has been sitting in the sun all day. Sounds like I need to take it in based on this thread. View attachment 4471

There is no going back once you see that. It progressively keeps coming back. It's a full air bag replacement. Make sure you get a loaner car
