Was coming back from the airport last night from Dublin (with my wife) and the fast charger was showing free until 20 seconds before I arrived. This was the end of a quiet journey. Wife was not happy and called me an Eco warrior and loads of other names.

You could always use the orange key. I've been using nothing but the orange key since the outset, especially whenever I think it matches my lipstick shade.

My wife could be the total opposite. Told her 2.5 update is out and showed her a snippet of the improvements and she barely flinched . Do you ever get "Why did you ever buy such an expensive Volvo"?

Damnit my 2004 XC90 2.5T FWD I drove for 18 years (sold it this year for the C40), cost me 45K at the time . Times have changed! Now, let's wait and see if the EX30 comes out next year like Volvo promises with a 40K price tag? ;0)

You all know we can get replacement fob shells, right? They're cheap and all over Amazon, Ebay, Ali Express, etc. I got a shiny red one. The shells are super easy to snap on and off.

Didn't it used to be that the car came with three keys? Two primary black keys, and the third orange key meant as the valet / guest driver key? I think that's what I had heard earlier on anyways.

I believe that the orange key fob was/is planned to allow the car's adminstrator to put a governor on the top speed for the orange key, maybe some other restrictions also. Intent was to keep your kids or anyone else that uses the orange key from driving too fast
