Anybody any news/clues/suspicions on content and/or time?

The decrease in effectiveness of regenerative braking with each update is quite annoying. This was one of the most appealing features of the car when I first got it, and it's noticeably less so now. If there are in fact people who find the braking too aggressive, there ought to be some way to control this as a user-configurable option, with at least a couple of possible settings.

I too agree that 2.7 significantly softened the throttle & braking response of OPD. Ours has 2.6 from delivery so I don’t know any previous versions.

I don’t mind the change so much - it’s actually much more refined now - but it is different and takes a little adjustment from the previous mapping.

I do wish there was a preference for OPD - like low, medium, high kind of thing.
I've noticed a steady weakening of regenerative braking from 2.2 through 2.7, and I don't like it. I'm driving a Polestar for a few days (rented from Hertz: side note, at least at the Phoenix airport they don't know you have to charge cars before sending them out on a new rental, and they shouldn't plan to charge you for gas you didn't buy if you return the car less than full -- Hertz EV rental is not ready for prime time), and while I prefer several things about my XC40, one good thing about the Polestar is that you can choose two different degrees of regen braking when you turn on OPD. That suggests Volvo ought to be able to give us this in software, instead of just steadily weakening it.
