Hi all, Not sure if this was ever fully answered or resolved. I have a 2022 XC40 Recharge running the 1.8.1 software version. We have the VOC app on my wife's phone and she is signed in with her Volvo id. on the car she is signed using same gmail account used for volvo id as her Volvo profile (admin) and google account.
I cant see anyway for me to add a 2nd gmail account in the car or a 2nd Volvo profile for me.Which restricts me on the phone as I cant register my phones VOC app with the car. I dont see an option in VOC settings int he car to add/pair to a second phone. When i start the pair from the app with my phone in the car nothing shows up ont he cars' screen.
Can someone help me with what I might be missing?

Sorry you have to try figure this out. I eventually worked thru it, and it still makes my head hurt. There are Volvo Accounts, Driver Profiles, Google Accounts, mobile app on multiple devices, etc - all slightly different.
Sounds like your wife is already set up as the "admin"
driver profile, and has already successfully paired the VC mobile app on her phone with this driver profile. Great.
Here's the key:
Only one VC mobile app device (phone/tablet) can be paired to a given driver profile.
In order to pair with the VC mobile app on a second phone - you will need to create a
second driver profile in the car for yourself. Select the second driver profile in the car, and then go thru the VC mobile app pairing process on your second phone (presumably requiring all of your key fobs to be present again, for security).
You can re-use the same Volvo Account ID and login for each of the driver profiles and phones.
Note that having a Google Account is irrelevant to the VC mobile app. Although unrelated - it can be useful to have your driver profile logged into your Google Account to sync destinations, favorites, contacts with Google Maps on your other devices.
