Setting charge schedules

If it's like the EV version, the instructions say to plug the charge cable into the wall and switch on (if your power points have switches like we do in AUS) BEFORE plugging the cable into the car. This allows the charge cable to do the check for earth etc. on the power point.

The only thing I can think of with the charge schedule on the app is somehow it's lost connection to the car or the car or app has lost connection to the server. Can you set a charge schedule on the car's IHU instead of the app? That might be worth a try.

Update. I have solved the problem.
1 -I deleted and re-installed the Volvo App ( this made no difference on its own).
2 - I deleted and re-paired my phone from the car.
3- I gave the car a short charge so the App recognised my home as the location.
4 - I set the charge time on the App to charge overnight and the location of my home came up as the option

The car charged overnight as progammed.

I also re-set the screen in the central consol but I'm not sure this made any difference.

Thanks for everyone's help.

Tony
I'm curious as to what you mean by "the location of my home came up as the option" on the app. The only thing I've ever seen on the app is the car's current location address...nothing to do with home, nothing to do with charging at a specific location...only charge timer (start and end time) and setting a charge schedule is not conditional at all on the car's location. Maybe it's a new function in the app that you're referring to, or maybe I'm confused and reading something into your comment.
