I was reading the US Owners Manual today and came across this bit:

"The lower the charge level of the battery, the more quickly the range adapts to changed driving patterns."

Any idea what this means?
I believe it means that if there is very little charge in the battery, the estimated range left will change quickly based on driving patterns. This is in contrast to a full charge where the estimated range is not responsive to a sudden change in driving patterns.
