I have been told delivery of this month is likely. So not too long a wait all things considered.

The irony is that a Volvo C40 Core Plus Single Moter edition just appeared on NHS special offer for delivery by May at the latest. So had I not ordered I could have had a Core Plus for the same price but a few months longer wait.

The thing is these things are unpredicatble. Still looking forward to the Core edition delivery and not upset at all.

I have rear view Cam and parking sensors. Coming from a Kia and new to Volvo it’s a definite upgrade. The range is what it is but I do 500+ miles a week and once you get your head around which charging points you prefer it’s really not an issue.

I got an email from Volvo telling me my XC40 Recharge had entered production. This would be fine, apart from the fact I ordered a C40. 😊

I phoned the fleet solutions people and they said it was probably just a typo. I explained how I would prefer to have actual verification I was getting the car I ordered but got nowhere. So I rang our local Volvo dealership and asked for the fleet sales person. It took this girl only seconds to confirm it was indeed a C40 and that it would be with me by the end of the month.

When I told my wife (it’s going to her main drive), she said she quite likes the XC40 now instead of the C40. I told her beggars can’t be choosers and she’ll just have to “make do”. 😎
