Howdy everybody. The XC40 is not just my first Volvo, it's the first time I ever even thought to myself, "Hey! Mebbe a Volvo?" LOL Volvo's knocked it out of the outfield (not quite out of the park) with the XC40. Amazed with all this style, and all these features that come so reasonably priced! Crazy quality throughout & seems so well built, too. It's not without it's issues (3 weeks in & I think I've found all the ones that drive me bat-sh!t cray... LOL) but overall, I am pretty impressed & happy with it.


Had to settle on color here in CT... there just weren't any of these things around in the color choices & options that I wanted. Wanting the blue R-Design real bad, but I wound up with a Momentum, the non-metallic black with white top/mirrors/wheels (wheels will be replaced; as will the mirror caps). This was the only fully loaded T5 in the area - every one that I was watching sold, almost daily. So snatched this one up.



Momentum with white roof, white wheels/mirror caps, heating, premium, advanced, vision & multimedia pkgs; panny sunroof, mudflaps front & rear (but they're installed incorrectly - in FRONT of the wheels - for reals, yo! That's a Volv-no. LOL)


If it wasn't a lease, I'd get that Polestar pkg!!



First mod - new wheels & either black mirror caps, or I'll get 'em wrapped.

Welcome to the forum and to the brand. You aren't the first person who's been swayed by their new design language. I actually don't mind how it looks in the two tone and you were pretty lucky to source one in the first place. Congrats.
