First post in the forum and happy to see there's a community for us XC40 enthusiasts. I fell in love with this car since the first time I saw the commercial, once out for sale decided to go to the one dealership that had one available and was planning on purchasing but with just 1 in stock there wasn't room for negotiation. The salesman told me about Care by Volvo and order ours that same day through the app (Momentum | Osmium Gray Metallic | Oxide Red Interior) we ordered April 4th and received it exactly 4 months later.

For people waiting for care by Volvo orders and not getting updates from your concierge, I recommend you call very often and ask for updates. We also got in touch with the dealership and the person that handles CBV orders, and he was way more helpful and had more up to date information than corporate (go figure).

Welcome to the forum lucaspn89! I feel in love as well when I first saw the introduction of the vehicle from Volvo on You Tube. Great that you have received your XC40 only after waiting four months. I ordered mine 4/25 (R Design / Fusion Red) and last update from my concierge was mid December delivery. I've seen two XC 40's so far here in the Omaha, NE area so looking forward to receiving mine. Please keep the forum updated with the good and bad (praying you don't have any bad) with your XC40. Again welcome to the forum and enjoy your sweet ride!

So far everything has been great, took it on a little road trip this weekend and the pilot assist with adaptive cruise control is excellent.

Congrats on the XC40 and welcome to the forum! Seems like you got pretty lucky with the turnaround time, as availability varies pretty widely by region. Are you upgrading from another Volvo or new to the brand?

Thanks Kalvin! I think you're right I got pretty lucky we our delivery, while waiting I thought it was way too much time but after ready from all of the people with way longer delays I think we got lucky. This is my first Volvo and couldn't be happier.

Couldn't be a better time to become a Volvo owners during a time the brand is changing so much. I was initially impressed with the new S80 and happy to see it reflected in the XC40.
