Yep it died but it was my fault. I had let the kids in the car with the door open while we continued chatting to friends outside the car. We did chat for a long time and meanwhile the aircon was on and I think Spotify was playing. I didn’t think much when I got in the car and I just changed gears into drive. But the driver display was showing a whole bunch of errors. Until eventually it was just struggling to stay on and the car was clicking a lot. I knew it was the 12V.
I called roadside assistance and explained that it is an EV with a flat 12V. Luckily the guy didn’t take long to arrive. I explained to him that we needed to get the panels off and that the battery is under it. He then got his Noco jump starter and the car came back to life.
I think all my research into EVs before buying this car and this forum prepared me for this day. I even bought a jump starter for this car for going on long road trips. But I left it at home!

- I think it’s silly how an EV with a massive battery can let the 12V go flat.
- The infotainment and aircon turns on when the kids go in.
- Having mechanical doors handles and bonnet are useful.
- Need a screw driver to pop off the plastic pins. There were some pins I couldn’t push with fingers.
