My 12V battery died

I’m surprised that even though the battery is hidden behind panels there isn’t a positive terminal easily accessible

My old Audi had the battery in the trunk under the spare but had a terminal under the hood for jump starts and charging.

Funny story though, the salesman who sold me my XC40 didn’t even know there was a 12v and looked dumbfounded when I asked home where it was 🤷🏼‍♂️
I find the positive charging point fairly accessible, of course after the two plastic panels and the little cover piece come off. The one thing I ran into is that the post is small and surrounded by plastic, and the jumper pack I have has big clamps that are tricky to stay attached.

so, the positive charging point is not really useful at all. Buddy of mine has a Kia EV. The 12V battery is clearly labeled and the cover pops off easily; total and immediate access for anyone interested in finding it.
It’s easier to access than the battery positive post, but yes tricky if you have a real heavy duty jump starter with big clamps. Probably not an issue for most new modern portable jump packs with smaller hardware.
