How to check if Gracenote is truly active or not? I dont see any actual evidence of it doing anything, only that it is enabled under the Media settings. What should normally happen when it works OK? Is some kind of USB stick update still required with the current 2021 models, or are the updates and downloads now all automatic over the Internet connection? Thanks

To test it, you can put an MP3 song on your USB drive and insert it. It should show a message that it is checking track info with Gracenote. If successful, next to the song title you should see a miniature album cover for that song.

Just got my xc40 2 months ago. Haven't driven it. Totally lost. Trying to get info other than dash screen. It's all I have for reference. No manual provided. PFF! Anyway.. what is "gracenote"? Tech challenged.
