Looking up reviews of other XC models that have been on the market for years its easy to find reviews that average around 4-4.5 stars out of 5, but what's to say the XC40 will rank just as well or better? Keep in mind those ratings came from publications and not actual owners.

Owners of the XC70 and XC90 are encouraged to post feedback, right now that will be the most valuable.

If they've been up there ( 4-4.5 ) for quite some time, I highly doubt they'll get worse. I'll be pretty happy with a 4-4.5 and either way I typically don't like to go off of publication "star" reviews anyhow.
