Hey! After waiting 2 months, I got my silver R-design with the black roof today. Looks great, and the ride is fantastic. The alcantara is very grippy, and it looks like it might be a little hard to keep clean, but it's comfortable and looks really sharp. I traded in a Subaru Crosstrek, so it's like night and day. The Sensus is going to take some getting used to, but voice command and steering wheel menus work well. The shifter was not as much of a PITA as everyone was saying. I hope everyone is enjoying theirs!

Congrats on getting your XC40 cobie1 and welcome to the forum! Please keep us posted with the good and bad as you continue to get comfortable in your new ride.

If you have a chance try test driving one of the XC40's rivals to really see how good its ride quality is. Subaru's from my experience have never been good and aren't a good benchmark when coming to a brand like Volvo.

Welcome to the community and congrats on finally taking delivery! The only complains I've seen around the Alcantara seats is that they can be a bit of a dust and dirt magnet.
