Hello all,
I’ve just placed an order for a XC40 B3 mild hybrid Core.
I have upgraded to the climate pack and tinted windows but I have just realised that the car doesn’t come with front sensors as standard.
Seeking advice from drivers to see if this would be a helpful addition and does anyone know if these can be added without having to include the camera too (core plus) as that really pushes up the monthly repayments.
Also I’ve chosen the vapour grey colour - finding it hard to see videos/photos of this. Does anyone have any or links or any suggestions on the best colour for this car?

The car has fairly decent ground clearance, and there isn’t a lot of car beyond what you can see, front or back, so unless you have a lot of very high curbs (kerbs) where you live, you should be fine with one caveat. I’m presuming with a B3 Core, you’ll take the 18” rims. If you get 19’s I’d almost recommend surround cameras (I have 20s, with winter treads on 19s). The lower profile rubber gives the rims little scuff protection, and potentially some rim repairs when it’s time to hand the car over. The Plus has a number of nice features, but it’s probably money you prefer to spend elsewhere. As for the Vapour Grey, see below. Like my Sage Green, it’s what I’d call a mutable colour that changes its shade according to sun or cloud, as well as light and shade. Good luck!
