Extended range for UK?

what makes you think they are not?

I asked their marketing people why it wasn't available as ordering option. They replied that there were no plans to make it available in the UK.

Ah, you talked to your dealer or you talked to Volvo in Sweden? I doubt anyone here has additional or better information.

C'mon mate! You live in a teensy tiny country. Can't you drive across and back on one charge! We need to 2000 km extended range battery in Australia to make it to the next charger.

Last month my dealer told me almost their entire sales were twin motor, maybe Volvo didn't want to fragment the single motor UK market.

Not sure why they would pick the standard range over the extended range though, maybe just to push customers to upgrade to the twin.

Canada dealer said the same thing, was there today for my 2 year "service" I really just went in for a software update as I was more than 3 versions behind.
