This is one of the best rankings I've read. I have driven all but the Skoda and the Ford, and pretty much agree with his evaluations. Other people seem to be impressed by the Ford but it would not be on my list because I would not pay an 'extra dealer margin' nor would I want to cope with slow charging speeds.
I have criticisms of the Volvo but I think it would be hard to choose between the Model Y and the XC 40 if I had the choice. Were the Tesla Supercharger access be possible I'd probably still choose the XC 40.

I am glad that they include our XC40 P8 in this review. Most comparisons don't include it, probably because there are so few of them. Ground clearance and one-pedal-driving are my deal-breakers. It is nice to have quality and horsepower.
