I was very impressed with the new Acura RDX. It now has a 2.0 turbo engine mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. My mother is a big Acura fan and has owned nothing but Acuras for the last 20 years and she's really interested in the new RDX. I went with her to test drive one over the weekend and it was really nice. The new engine and transmission really give it effortless acceleration. The ride was really nice, almost firm feeling without being harsh at all. It was absolutely loaded up with technology as well and had great materials throughout the interior. Although it's a bit bigger than the XC40, I think lots of people will cross shop these two vehicles for sure. They are priced very similarly.

I hope you have a better experience than me. Only got 105,000 miles, a typical half life for this make, off my RDX before the turbo function shut down and made the car virtually inoperable.
