Found this in the hopes of learning a little more about the XC40 - placed an order for mine back in June and was told that estimated delivery would be Nov/Dec! Have been looking at other small SUV but none catch my eye like this one. Chosen model is the inscription - denim blue, and the one thing I am not excited about is the crystal gearshift. Has anyone purchased an inscription with just a regular leather knob?

Not an option to choose without crystal knob so everyone with a Inscription gets it.
Welcome to the forum. And unfortunately that option is standard per trim level, so you may have to consider the R Design if you're not a fan. Don't know how easy it would be to swap with something aftermarket.
