Brake controls

I've just taken delivery of a 2021 Inscription Pro B4 auto (UK).
Can somebody please explain the relationship between the two brake controls in the centre console?
There's a button marked P near the gearbox selector, and a brake switch further back from this.

The button marked P is the Parking Brake. The other button has an A on it I believe and this is the automatic brake that applies and holds the brake on when you come to a stop and then releases the brake when the gas peddle is pushed to move again. This is handy in heavy traffic or when waiting in line at drive through restaurants etc.. You do not have to keep your foot on the brake after coming to a stop. There is also a setting you can select that automatically applies the Parking Brake when you turn off the car.

The P manually applies the handbrake. Pull up to apply and push down for off. If you forget to take off there is a bit of a "bump" to remind you not to forget too often. The A is for automatic application of the handbrake. It can be a pain if you have stopped in preparation for reversing into a parking bay as you need to blip the throttle to release and if you are heavy footed you can be going far faster than you want! After 2 months useage in my B4 I have set the handbrake to come on when I push Stop (settings) and keep the Automatic for use solely in heavy traffic.
