Battery failure

Chalk and cheese, but I doubt removing the battery is any easier. You still have the connectors, liquid cooling, isolating the HVDC circuit and a 600kg battery to remove safely. 1.7 hours R&R would suggest that it’s relatively straightforward. The difficulty is in having the equipment, the pack and two trained techs required by safety protocols.
I’m not convinced I like these skateboard designs honestly. Look at the Polestar 3. It’s just under 5m long, and despite length between the seats, you sit so low in the back that your thighs get zero support if you’re more than 1.8m tall because the rear seats are too low. The XC40 is the same height, 4.45m long, but because of the footwells, there’s decent support and legroom. I don’t see the point of a flat floor myself. The centre rear has never been used in my car, even by the grandkids.
