Hi all! I was getting quotes to factory order XC40 Plus trim with the Drive Assist package. The two dealers I was talking to both said I'd be ordering a 2024 model now.
However, Dealer A told me that the Adaptive Cruise Control and Pilot Assist features are not even available as add-ons for Plus trim in 2024 anymore. So I'd have to buy an Ultimate trim if I want those features. According to them, the Drive Assist package is no more, as 360 camera will be built-into Plus trim while ACC + Pilot assist will be only available for Ultimate.
Is that true? I am inclined to believe them because what they said about the 360 camera is corroborated by Car and Driver -- but that means I have to pay more than my budget.
What confuses me more is that Dealer B says I can still order 2024 Plus Trim and add the Drive Assist package which includes ACC + Pilot assist + 360 camera. The Volvo website is still showing the 2023 info, so I am not sure which dealer is correct.
This is about the mild hybrid model and I am in California, USA.
