I find it now over reacts in adaptive cruise when a car pulls in front of you it tends to brake to much instead of just backing off the accelerator a little.

 

The one thing I don't like is if you have adaptive cruise on and the car in front of you slows down then takes a turn, the car slows but takes forever to start increasing speed after the car in front is already well off the road. It seems almost like it's going to come to a stop before it takes off again...annoying, especially if there's any cars behind you wondering WTF you're doing!

 

Yes! This behavior started for me with SW 2.5. It's a real problem in heavy ski traffic coming down out of the mountains. Some one slows then speeds up again, but the ACC slows and just keeps slowing. At times it has gone from 40 mph down to single digits while the offending lead car long ago accelerated and is far down the road. I've felt it necessary to get onto the accelerator just to keep the traffic behind me from piling into me.
