more of a goodwill program than a promotion. Volvo Cars in North America screwed up the P8 rollout, e.g., sequestered cars at the port of entry due to factory defects, buggy software, etc., and needed to tamp down the rightful anger of owners. Some dealers were unaware of this program, other were reluctant to use it even though cost was 100% Volvo Cars. See attached. But, this program is history now.I have seen some discussions that mention a $1,000.00 accessory credit. Was that part of a Volvo promotion or was that a dealer promotion?
Just to be clear - the program applies to XC40 Recharge cars delivered up to June 1, 2021. If you got your car before June 1, the program is still in effect for you - doesn't expire until Dec 1, 2021.But, this program is history now.
Assuming delivery before June 1st, if there wasn't anything "wrong" with your Car, you can always use the "under spec" argument....Apple Carplay, Sirius, VOC not available as advertise. Never hurt to try...... I, too, had pushed for the $750 Gift Card but my Car did end up at dealership for over a week with pads/rotor issues. As stated if you took delivery before June 1 ( I squeaked in with 5/29) you have until 12/1 to get your dealer to do this. You will probably have to nag them and have some problems you have dealt with to have this apply.
